just went to my first rally at some open patch in hougang. worker's party one to be exact. god there's still a week left to actual voting day but the scenes are reminding me of the 97 and 01 GE. traffic jams occurred at junctions/places 5roads away or even 1km away. no i'm not joking. maybe cos WP were on home turf in hougang but yeah. the turnout at the field? easily exceeded what i expected. the quote that the ruling party candidate threw up in this turf is "the chikus are ready to be plucked." judging from the reactions of the crowd who simply loved my MP, Mr Low Thia Kiang, i wouldn't think so. oh and should i say WP have 2 very lovely ladies. Hmm... who said politics was boring...
