dunno y got mood to blog recently. and post photos...so i was at serangoon gardens, at a place called happy daze, a retro kind of laid back pub/al fresco place...so tempted to smoke as did everyone aroud but no... no means no. the mood earlier wasn't good because we had gone to a friend's mama's wake, the 2nd time i had experienced something like that in less than a year. so pls my friends...start(if u haven't) to care/don't neglect/say your i love yous to your mama & papa, like now. really nv leave anything to regret...it just consumes u when shit happens. ok some eye candy for u.

this week was a pretty eventful week. quite a bustling week in the office... though i've been turning up for work later and later due to late night dvd sessions watching rainie yang with my spec, exploring places around my camp i.e. bukit gombak, panjang, batok... trying to hit the bowling lanes at sedans ns club trying to learn a thing or two about hooking the bowling ball... playing soccer, attending yet another 21st birthday and giving the birthday boy a kiss... and ytd bringing my mama to watch singapore gaga a movie@the arts house and afterwhich brought her to arab street to walk walk... life is really good. i just need the above to make me feel like a contented baby. oh and of course catching up with yk n wj last night was good as well... of of course another highlight would be coming back on a saturday morning waking up early to run with eldwin so he can pass his ippt. it felt fulfilling and happy to be able to help him pass.

on another note, i am starting to miss my silly men and my speicialists... i ORD on 30 may. and funnily contrary to what alot of ppl feel.. i'm not that urgent to want to clear my off n leave. unless really necessary? i dunno... just like in love... for this bunch of guys i'm seriously quite hesitant and unwilling to let go...

going to play soccer now. till i feel so nostalgic again..

Another 21st birthday party...also another cosy and compact place with good ambience. Wonder where all my friends manage to find such quaint, different, sometimes-arty-bohoish kind of places. Once more i defied the doctor and had McCallan whiskey, chivas, vodka & knnburnmylungspoison bacardi 151 shot...what makes turning 21 so special, really? The milestone of being an adult? to being able to vote, watchR21 films... it does transcend all that but it seems like a sacred figure being hoisted on a pedestal. ok goodnight now, duty officer tmr.

Just back from Isaac Tan Yu Quan's 21st birthday celebrations @ TAPESTRY, the new Civil Service Club along Bukit Batok West Ave 2. Way cool place with great ambience and fine selection of red/white/ice wines, champagnes...shiraz, merlot, sauvignon or a mix of the 3 grapes...Made me really think hard for what i want to do for mine...good host little isaac was, entertained with a few pieces of songs and sounds played on his set, random friends going up to jam, exchanging playful jokes/teases/banter with his brother... all in all some good yet clean fun. great to see the dudes from Platoon2 again. Made my day and though the doctor said NO ALCOHOL, fuck man, whats a bit of white and red wine gonna do..but i hope this laissez-faire attitude won't come up to something bad in my body...

For the times we carried our Full Battle Order and rifles and trudged through the mountains of Taiwan, the lush thick jungles of Brunei, the ever infested-mosquito training areas of Singapore...for the times we braved through all that...how about a nice cosy pic to remind us of such memories?

its funny to be back. I wasn't all that willing at first. afterall it was my single longest ever trio abroad so far. N honestly i've gotten used to the life there and thailand itself. for us we coined "uniquely singapore" to catapult us on the forefront of ppl's lips for tourism but i do know why for them they used "amazing thailand". self-eplanatory itself. cheap thrills everywhere, great ppl, comfortable pace of life. oh lord what more can i ask for. oh and pretty pretty girls... girls who dun fuss as much as some of our local bitches. simple is the order of the day.

i'll upload photos and update again. but for now pls check out the link below. to be honest i nv really miss anyone much, but now i miss thailand and some ppl whom i've gotten to know like hell. khop khun karp.
